“Got your everyday turned upside down?”
How can a communication agency attract the best politicians about to lose their job after an election, and get them to apply for positions as communication advisors? We ran this ad in Dagens Næringsliv and Aftenposten, two of the biggest papers in Norway, on the day after the national election in 2013.
“For you that have got your everyday turned upside down. Across the street we are hiering former ministers, state secretaries and members of parlament. Deadline October 1st.
Geelmyden Kiese
-We move power.”
The result was 23 relevant applicants. Plus media coverage. It vent viral on social media, and it was also in the spotlight on “Nytt på nytt” – one of Norway’s largest tv shows, two weeks in a row.
The ad won “Aftenposten Best” Q3 2013, “Aftenposten Best of 2013” and was shortlisted at “Gullkorn” 2013.
